The ghost using Cho-Hakkaimon makes a water wheel fall in the hole Kaoru is. The ghost possesses Opossummon, and Airu super digivolves her in an attempt to pull the ghost off, but the plan backfires. Kaoru awakes in DigiQuartz and decides to rescue the trapped being who was calling her. Airu remembers this started when something got caught in her trap, and they go to where it is. They follow the ghost and figure out it is targeting Airu. Airu tells them that she is there to hunt the ghost. Following her, the boys stumble on Airu, and Kaoru vanishes. They get locked, and Kaoru follows a light furhter inside the plant. Their investigation leads them to an abandoned power plant, where a phone rings and Kaoru hears a voice calling for help in the other side. They meet Kaoru, a ghost hunter, who is also investigating the story.

With some help from Lilymon and Dracomon, Mikey manages to get Christopher away from Dorbickmon's attack. Answering Christopher's challenge, having taking out the bulk of Blue Flare with a pit trap, Dorbickmon arrives in his Darkness Mode and uses his Darkness Loader to force DigiFuse and easily defeat DeckerGreymon. Meanwhile, Christopher arrives and launches an attack against the Bagra Army while calling out the first Dark General, Dorbickmon. Mikey and Shoutmon encounter Dracomon, saving him from a mob of Dinosaur and Dragon Digimon led by Devidramon.
Mikey and Shoutmon return to the Digital World and land in Dragon Land, learning from Lilymon that the Digital World has been reformated into seven Lands, each ruled by a Dark General.
